An independent filmmaker based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, I have explored various facets of film production.
My professional odyssey within the industry began as a Video Editor and Camera Operator. Yet, my ceaseless quest for creative evolution propelled me into diverse roles, including those of Art Director & Post-Production Supervisor, and most recently, Cinematographer/Director.
I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with notable industry leaders, leading to a diverse portfolio of work. This includes independent films, high-profile commercial films, and projects for various over-the-top (OTT) platforms like Viu, IFlix, TonTon and Astro.
In addition to my professional roles, I take on the roles of writer, director, cinematographer, and editor for my own films and documentaries, all under the Monolith Films banner. These creative endeavors have resonated with audiences worldwide, garnering both international and local recognition and accolades.
Filmmaking transcends being just a profession; it’s a profound and abiding passion of mine. My motivation lies in the art of crafting narratives that delve deep into the essence of the human experience, irrespective of the niche or genre.
Welcome to my world of filmmaking, where each frame is a canvas for storytelling.
“Keranda Di Langit” (Coffin in the Sky) is a surreal experimental film that immerses viewers in the turbulent journey of a man ensnared in a relentless downward spiral while simultaneously grappling with the deep and overwhelming sorrow stemming from an unexpected loss. It’s a visual and emotional exploration that looks skyward for a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness.
In “Lifeline,” we follow Vera, a crisis hotline operator, as she navigates the emotionally demanding nature of her work, which stirs up painful memories from her past.
